In a significant stride towards reinforcing safety awareness and community engagement, Barbex Africa Projects Ltd recently contributed a billboard to the Ghana Fire Service, Tarkwa Municipal Fire Station. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, as we actively collaborate with key stakeholders to foster a safer and more informed community.

On the 31st of October, our Site Manager, Paul Boi, and Operations Officer, Philip Tibil, proudly presented the billboard to DO2 Alex Assiem, the esteemed Fire Commander in charge of Tarkwa. Present at the handing over were fire officers from the Ghana Fire Service in Tarkwa.

DO2 Alex Assiem, expressed his gratitude, stating:

“We appreciate Barbex Africa Projects Ltd for this thoughtful donation. The billboard will significantly contribute to our efforts in disseminating crucial safety information to the community. This partnership exemplifies the positive impact that collaboration between the private sector and public services can have on community well-being.”

The donated billboard will serve as a platform for disseminating essential safety information and emergency contact details.  By strategically placing this billboard, we aim to enhance safety awareness and provide valuable information that can potentially save lives and businesses.

As we continue to grow and operate within the Tarkwa community, Barbex Africa Projects Ltd remains committed to initiatives that go beyond business operations and contribute positively to the communities we serve. We believe that partnerships with key stakeholders, such as the Ghana Fire Service, are essential for building a safer and more sustainable future.
