Barbex Africa recently partnered with the Ghana Chamber of Mines for the 9th Ghana Mining Industry Awards, at the Movenpick Hotel in Accra on 1st December 2023. The annual ceremony recognizes excellence and the contributions of mining, mining support companies, and individuals to the development of mining in Ghana.
At the event, Barbex Africa had the honor of sponsoring and presenting the award for the Best Level 200 Female Engineering Student at the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa to Ms. Solicity Amankwah-Taylor.

The Ghana Mining Industry Awards forms part of the Ghana Chamber of Mines’s yearly calendar activities which helps to reposition Ghana as the gateway for mining investment and business opportunities in West Africa and to connect mining companies with investors, suppliers, and government officials to explore the vast mining and development opportunities.
